Solana wallet splitter route & fee guide
Ninetails sends SOL from your wallet to several Solana addresses through a route you choose. This guide covers what each route costs, how long it takes, and where the limits are.
How to split SOL
- Open the app and connect a Solana wallet, or sign in with email to use a Privy wallet.
- Add each destination address and the amount it should receive.
- Choose a route. The app shows the active quote for that route.
- Approve the prompts in your wallet. Read each one before you sign.
- Follow progress on your order page, using the receipt link your browser created.
Start a split when you are ready.
Routes: fees and timing
| Route | Time estimate | Fee |
|---|---|---|
| Privacy Cash | About 10 seconds | 0.35% + about 0.006 SOL per wallet |
| MagicBlock | About 20 seconds | 0.1% + about 0.0072 SOL per wallet |
| Cloak | About 1 minute | See the active quote |
| Hinkal | About 1 minute | See the active quote. $1,000 per wallet for now. |
| Umbra | About 4 minutes | See the active quote |
| NEAR Intents | 5 to 15 minutes, sometimes 30 | See the active quote |
Percentages and per-wallet amounts are base choices and approximate. The active quote in the app is the final number.
What the fees mean
A route fee is a percentage of the amount sent. Fixed route or setup costs can also apply per destination, plus applicable network fees. Example: sending 10 SOL to 2 wallets on MagicBlock is about 0.01 SOL in route fee plus about 0.0144 SOL in per-wallet costs. The same split on Privacy Cash is about 0.035 SOL plus 0.012 SOL. These are arithmetic illustrations, not quotes.
The percentage alone is not the whole cost, and fixed costs weigh more on small payouts. Stacked or scheduled paths can cost more than the base figures above, so compare the active quote rather than the headline percentage.
What the timing means
Times are estimates that start after you finish the required wallet approvals. They are not benchmarks and not a promise, and network conditions change them. If you choose an intentional stagger, which spreads payouts out over time, expect minutes to hours more. Some routes also need you to keep the tab open while they run.
Limits
- A single split is capped at about $3,000 in total.
- Hinkal is limited to $1,000 per wallet for now.
- Route availability can change, so the app shows what is live when you open it.
If you are trying a route for the first time, send a small test split first and check the destination before you move a larger amount.
Ownership and privacy
Ninetails is noncustodial: your wallet signs each approval and Ninetails never asks for a seed phrase or private key. It is privacy-aware, not anonymous. The Solana blockchain is public, and each route can only hide so much.
When you start a split, your browser creates a private receipt link and encrypts the receipt details before they are stored. The order service keeps the encrypted receipt, an order number, and a coarse status for each leg. Anyone who has your full receipt link can open the order page and see its details, so treat it like a password. Support can use order status to help diagnose issues, but cannot move your funds.
Email wallets through Privy
Signing in with email creates a separate wallet through Privy. This option is in public beta and its verification is incomplete, so keep amounts small until you have tested it. Privy being available does not certify any route or outcome.
Questions
Can I send SOL to multiple wallets at once?
Yes. You add several destinations and amounts, choose one route, and approve. Several wallet prompts may appear along the way.
Where do I find my order?
Use the order number and the private receipt link created in your browser. Save the link somewhere safe, because it is the way back to your details.
Why did my split take longer than the estimate?
Late approvals, network congestion and staggered schedules all add time. The estimates in the table cover route execution only.
Does a lower percentage always mean a lower cost?
No. Per-wallet costs and the number of destinations also count, so the total in the active quote is the one to compare.
Is the product finished?
It is in public beta. Limits, routes and the email wallet option can change as testing continues.
