How it works

Splitting SOL across several wallets by hand means many transfers and a lot of copy and paste. Ninetails turns that into one guided flow.

01

Add destinations

Enter the Solana addresses that should receive SOL and the amount for each. Your total and per-wallet amounts are checked against the route limits.

02

Choose a route

Select from the supported routes and see the actual quote before you approve anything. Route and network fees vary.

03

Approve in your wallet

Your wallet signs. Ninetails then tracks each leg of the order and shows whether it is processing, delivered or needs attention.

Use your own wallet, or a separate one

You can connect an existing Solana wallet. If you would rather keep things separate, there is also an option to sign in with email and use a separate wallet created through Privy. The email wallet option is in a public beta, so route and recovery behavior are not fully validated yet. Start with an amount you are comfortable testing.

Ninetails never asks for your seed phrase or private key. Do not share either with anyone claiming to be support.

Privacy and ownership boundaries

Ninetails is privacy-aware, not anonymous. The blockchain is public, and each route has its own limits on what it can hide. We do not claim that a split is 100% private or untraceable.

  • You own your funds. Your wallet signs every approval. Ninetails does not hold your keys.
  • Encrypted receipts. When you start a split, your browser creates a private receipt link and encrypts the receipt details before anything is stored.
  • What the order service keeps. The encrypted receipt and a coarse status: an order number, the route for each leg, and whether each leg is queued, in progress, delivered, refunded or paused.
  • Keep the link private. Anyone who holds your full receipt link can open the order page and view its details.
  • Profiles. If you sign in to a profile, verified volume is counted from deposit transactions that our server checks on-chain. Your profile shows the verified volume credited to it.

Route choice

A route is the path your SOL takes to reach each destination. Different routes have different behavior, so Ninetails lets you choose. The app offers these route choices:

Not every route is live at all times, and the app shows which ones are available when you open it. Some routes need you to keep a browser tab open while they run. Others schedule a payout after you approve. The app tells you which applies before you commit.

This guide focuses on SOL payouts on Solana. Check the app for current token and route availability.

Fees and limits

  • Quotes come first. Review the quote before you approve. Route and network fees vary, and fixed costs can make small payouts more expensive as a percentage of the amount sent.
  • Split cap. A single split is limited to about $3,000 in total.
  • Route caps. Some routes have lower limits. Hinkal is capped at $1,000 per wallet for now.

Safety, approvals and recovery

A split can involve several message or transaction approvals in your wallet. Read each prompt, then approve it promptly after you have reviewed it. Never approve blindly, and cancel anything that does not match what you set up.

Orders have a number and a saved private receipt link, so you can come back and check status. Legs can be refunded or paused when a route cannot complete. Because the product is in beta, recovery behavior is not fully validated for every route, so test with a small amount first and keep your receipt link somewhere safe.
